Last year I introduced an extra level of affordability for clients needing to develop a logo design and brand identity. This has been really successful as it’s allowed start-ups and solopreneurs the opportunity to work with an experienced designer without blowing their budget. *claps*
This year the studio is already busy. Busy helping lots of new clients brand their businesses with memorable logo design. Ooooo, ahhhh. Last week I was told I’d taken a clients breath away with their logo presentation… obviously she was very happy but I do hope she started breathing again before the weekend started! Haha.
Moving on now to the important bit – the difference between the TWO levels of logo design & branding packages available.
Let’s talk about my first level of service. This is where I work with clients over the phone, via email or Skype. It is a simple, yet effective service for those who are time poor or on a minimum budget and want to work through a streamlined process with a designer to effectively brand their business.
I offer both a package containing a custom designed logo and a package that contains a logo, business card and letterhead.
I supply artwork files of the finished logo so that the client has the flexibility to work with other suppliers in the future who need their logo, like web developers or signage suppliers. This means that you’re pretty much set-up with a defined brand identity for your business that is affordable both in dollars and in time.
My second level of service is great for established businesses, generally with multiple employees. These businesses may have had a logo design created when they first went into business and now realise that they need to upgrade.
This service involves a strategy oriented initial consultation and includes face-to-face meeting time throughout. Time is spent initially looking at a clients competitors, target market and honing in on their points of difference. This consultation time will provide a business with brand clarity – knowing who they are and how they would like their business perceived as they move forward.
I offer both a package containing a custom logo design and a package that contains a logo, and a full business stationery suite. Again I supply artwork files of the finished logo so that the client has the flexibility to work with other suppliers in the future who need their logo, like web developers or signage suppliers.
If you’ve just had an ‘A-ha’ moment (a light bulb went off in your head, you inhaled and sat higher in your chair, mouth generally falls open for a few seconds) I would love to talk to you!
